One of the most everlasting group which left the deepest mark on me in the late 60s was Love Affair. When their first song came out in 1968, it was an immediate smash on me. Then, there were no news or materials about the group, who were the members, where they came from, etc. It was only much much later that I learnt that in the first hit song, Everlasting Love, session musicians were used except the lead singer.. Steve Ellis, the lead singer has the most haunting voice one ever heard over the radio waves,,,,, Rainbow Valley, A Day Without Love, Bringing Back the Good Times.....these 4 haunting orchestric songs are the best ever.....These videos from Youtube are meant for my private listening and reminiscence of the lovely past.
