EPL 2014 Week 3

EPL 2014 Week 3
Same story same struggle same everything. Even the debut of 60m signing in the form of Angel de Maria did not change the script in the match against another 'lowly' opponent, Burnley who had lost their first two games since promotion.
Van Gaal is still trying to instil his game philosophy but it has been obvious that the players have not been adapting to it. Still a nervy performance. 2points from a possible 9 is relegation form, though it is still early days. Things could change around (hope, hope). Could the return from injuries of players like Luke Shaw Zander Hererra or the purchase of Danny Blind change the fortune of the Red Devils? It will take quite a while. The Red Devils have not face any of the top 6 teams yet. The fans will not be too optimistic when they do..... Just hope for the best, which is never the Red Devils way. It showed how far they have fallen behind.

Man City vs Stoke : 0-1 a shock loss at home for the Citizens
Everton vs Chelsea : 3-6 Mourinho' Blues are galloping ahead. Diego Costa scored again, twice
Spurs vs Liverpool : 0-3. Spurs still toothless after the spending. Back to reality after being on top. Mario Barotelli debuts for the Reds but didn't score
Leicester vs Arsenal : 1-1 Alexis Sanchez scored but Foxes resilient. Unexpected result for Wenger.
