The turkey vulture

Turkey vultures prefer dead meat. In school, they are quite capable people who avoid any form of politics. They may not want to put in any extra effort to gain promotions but prefer to wait for vacancies to fill. However, for not being forthright in their preferences to the right people, they might miss the big pie. Thus they are liked by the ambitious animals in the school.
