Raffles Institution Soccer U14 1980
This is the first group of U14 players which I was in charge. I remembered the games played away, esp at the Farrer Park fields. Unfortunately, we did not proceed far in the inter-school tournament.

hi, I believe this is the U14 team in 1981, because Chan Tat Hon, Malek only joined RI as Sec 1 boys in 1981.
Yes, this was the U-14 team in 1981. This was the year that we lost many players to rugby and most didn't come back the following year. It's 30 years ago now and I'm still playing football (even though it's actually Futsal) on a weekly basis and loving it as much as I have ever had since 1981. Thank you Mr Woo, it was great time when we played our hearts for you and the coaches in every game. One of the est memories was when we had centralized training led by Suhaimi and Teo Liang Huat. this team will always be the team I remember most fondly. Gratefully yours, Maritz Mansor

I still remember you very vividly this day. Yeah, I was really downhearted then when half of the team was 'recruited' by the rugby team. I felt it was very unfair but oh well i still had the other half. I still meet Liang Huat in church nowadays.
