The Killing Fields

We felt that it is inappropriate to take personal photographs in this sad and tragic place. The scenes which unfolded in front of us were too cruel to be mentioned. We just cannot imagine how cruel human beings can be towards another human being.The tower which kept the skulls, bones, clothes of the victim was a grim reminder of that past. When we went to the fields, we could still see the clothes and bones buried along rthe pathways of the dug graves. The tree which was used for hanging, the other which the children were bashed and the palm leaves which were used as knives, all these were reminders of how cruel, inhuman, sadistic human beings could be. More than 8,000 people were killed there. There are still many areas which were not dug up.

Prayed that the souls of the victims will find peace and solace in their next life.

Prayed that there will not be a repeat of such acts in the future.
