Highs and Lows of EPL 2015/16 Final

Man Utd brought the season down with a 3-1 win over Bournemouth in the final league game of the season to end 5th. The Red Devils will now look forward to the FA Cup final this Saturday against Crystal Palace.

Europa League: J Klopp just could not lift his underperforming Reds in the final against Sevilla, losing 3-1 after leading 1-0 at half time.
This is Sevilla's 3rd successive Europa League win,

Liverpool were on course to secure Champions League football - on offer to the winners of the competition this year - when Daniel Sturridge's magnificent strike with the outside of his left foot gave them the interval lead.
But the Reds conceded three goals in the space of 24 second-half minutes - Kevin Gameiro netting 17 seconds after the interval, before Coke struck twice.
Sevilla win Europa League

Sevilla become the first team to win a major European competition three years in a row since Bayern Munich won the European Cup three times between 1974 and 1976

Liverpool suffered a dramatic second-half collapse as Sevilla claimed the Europa League for the third season in succession with a superb comeback.
Jurgen Klopp's side looked on course to secure the prize of Champions League football - on offer to the winners of the competition - when Daniel Sturridge's magnificent strike with the outside of his left foot gave them the interval lead.
The good work was wrecked in the first 17 seconds of the second half when Kevin Gameiro turned in Mariano Ferreira's cross to put Sevilla level.
Liverpool, who were denied a clear first-half penalty when Sevilla's Daniel Carrico clearly handled as Roberto Firmino tried to weave past him, never recovered.

Liverpool collapse as Sevilla win Europa League

Coke's fine 64th-minute finish confirmed Sevilla's superiority and he added a contentious third from close range, which was initially disallowed but was then given as Liverpool slumped to their second final defeat this season after losing to Manchester City in the Capital One Cup.

Highs and Lows of EPL Week 37

Midweek Matches

LvG's side dug a hole themselves, as they often did this season, by losing 2-3 to West Ham in their game on hand to stay at 5th position when they could have move above Man City for a UCL  place!!!
This being the very last match at Upton Park before the Hammers move to the Olympic Stadium next season, the Hammers dominated a lethargic Red Devils side who were delayed due to fans trouble on their way to the stadium. A Anthony Martial double could not secure a win with the Hammers scoring two goals in the last 15 minutes, both headers.
LvG will now hope that City to lose at Swansea while they beat Bournemouth in the last game of the season.

Final week of season 2015/2016
The only match that was not played and postponed was between Man Utd and Bournemouth due to a bomb scare. It was later term as a farce because the 'harmless parcel' was left in the toilet by the organisation which stimulate a crisis scenerio earlier!!!
However, with Man City drawing 1-1 at Swansea, they clinched the last UCL place for next season. Man Utd could only rue what they have missed!!

Arsenal continued the tradition of finishing above the 'Totteringham' Spurs when they won 4-0 over Villa while Spurs were surprisingly thrashed by relegated Newcastle 5-1 to finish 3rd.

Fans being evacuated after a unidentified parcel was found at Old Trafford.

1. Roberto Martinez of Everton

2. Quique Sanchez Flores of Watford

3. Manuel Pellegrini of Man City replaced by Pep Guardiola

It is a fairy tale come true for Claudio Ranieri's modest side. Deserved.

Leicester's incredible Premier League triumph has been built around £400,000 forward Riyad Mahrez and diminutive midfielder N'Golo Kante - both relative unknowns until this season - and a striker in Jamie Vardy who was still playing non-league football four years ago.
But this squad of freebies, basement buys and unknown imports have shocked the football world.
Along the way they won the hearts of neutral fans, became household names and fully fledged international stars.
These are the stories of the 14 key players from a team that cost less than £30m to assemble, but managed to topple the Premier League's elite.
