Highs and Lows of EPL Week 37

Midweek Matches

LvG's side dug a hole themselves, as they often did this season, by losing 2-3 to West Ham in their game on hand to stay at 5th position when they could have move above Man City for a UCL  place!!!
This being the very last match at Upton Park before the Hammers move to the Olympic Stadium next season, the Hammers dominated a lethargic Red Devils side who were delayed due to fans trouble on their way to the stadium. A Anthony Martial double could not secure a win with the Hammers scoring two goals in the last 15 minutes, both headers.
LvG will now hope that City to lose at Swansea while they beat Bournemouth in the last game of the season.

Final week of season 2015/2016
The only match that was not played and postponed was between Man Utd and Bournemouth due to a bomb scare. It was later term as a farce because the 'harmless parcel' was left in the toilet by the organisation which stimulate a crisis scenerio earlier!!!
However, with Man City drawing 1-1 at Swansea, they clinched the last UCL place for next season. Man Utd could only rue what they have missed!!

Arsenal continued the tradition of finishing above the 'Totteringham' Spurs when they won 4-0 over Villa while Spurs were surprisingly thrashed by relegated Newcastle 5-1 to finish 3rd.

Fans being evacuated after a unidentified parcel was found at Old Trafford.
