Highs and Lows of EPL Week 21

For once, the Red Devils were involved in a goal feast. Leading 2-0 at St James Park at one time, they allowed lowly Newcastle to snatch a 90th minute goal to draw 3-3 at the end. It was an end to end affair. Rooney scored a brace. Now it was the defence who went missing!!

Rooney scored the third Utd goal but game ended up in a draw.

Arsenal suffered the same fate at Anfield which stopped them from extending the lead at the top.
Manchester City and Everton drew 0-0. Chelsea also drew with WBA, 2-2.

The team which benefited most was Leicester which scored a late goal against Spurs to go joint second.

Chelsea was the latest to create drama in coming back from 2-0 down against Everton at Stamford Bridge to draw 3-3 with a 97 minute goal by John Terry.

It has been a very good week for Wayne Rooney. He scored the 78th minute winner at Anfield, his first in 10 years at the hallowed ground!!
Man Utd was poor and it was the ultimate smash and grab robbery against their fierciest rival. LvG's team had only one shot on target the whole match and it was the winner!
The man of match : David de Gea who saved Utd numerous time in the first half when the Reds were dominant.
