EPL Week 19

Man Utd vs Southampton : 0-1
The Red Devils lost to Southampton at home for the first time in 27 years. It seemed that the unwanted records keep coming even after David Moyes exit. They also accumulated the same numbers of points as last season, same time, under Moyes. Then, he was under a load of criticism and barbs. How about Van Gaal now? The expensively assembled team did no better, even though the injury crisis was over. The men in red just didn't perform. No shot on target. Southampton, meanwhile have one shot, one goal and had now soared above the Devils in the table. The internal tor is still present in the present team. Van Gaal must address the problems this window period or else they might not be good enough even for the Europa League. The players just did not perform. There should not be any excuse anymore. With this loss, the Red Devils are falling down the table. No fight, no passion.....Poor poor devils.

Chelsea vs Newcastle : 2-0  A routine robotic win for Jose Mourinho's team over the managerless Toonies (after Alan Pardew left for Crystal Palace) after the debacle at Spurs.  They extended the lead at the top by 2 points.

Everton vs Man City : 1-1 The Toffees stopped their slide by holding the previous joint leader to a creditable draw. It was a 2 points loss for the Citizens after being in top form for a few weeks.

Arsenal vs Stoke : 3-0 Alexis Sanchez lifted the Emirates crowd with this display

Sunderland vs Liverpool : 0-1 The Reds' form is improving and they managed to eke out a slim win over a poor Sunderland side. Lazar Markovic scored his first goal.

Palace vs Spurs :  2-1  One week in heaven another week in deep shit, This is the tale of purs so far...inconsistent. Alan Pardew had a good start as manager at Selhurst Park
